We saw the second Black Panther movie and I remember Namor being formidable, I definitely don't remember him being the sleazy guy he comes across as in Marvel Rivals, though it has been a minute since we saw it. That said, I am kind of enjoying the running gag now that Namor's just going to hit on all the ladies and they are gonna enjoy turning him down and putting him in his place, it is giving us some good comedic moments.

As for when Logan and Squirrel Girl had a thing, while I don’t remember the exact moment, it was referenced a couple of times. When Emma Frost entered Logan’s mind she saw his fantasies, which included Squirrel Girl. Another time was when Squirrel Girl was babysitting Luke Cages baby and Logan bumped into her. It was as awkward as this video showed. It’s insane what the developers reference. Speaking of which, a little detail in the trailer that revealed Blade, when he shows up we hear a remix of the same song that played in from the club scene from the Blade movie. These devs sure know what they are doing.

2025-07-16 19:12:05 +0000 UTCSo in regards to Magik and Namor being hosts of the phoenix, it was from the Avengers Vs X-Men run in the comics, the phoenix split itself into 5 pieces and made hosts out of Magik, Emma Frost, Cyclops, Namor and Colossus. It was a really good run and I highly recommend it!

Many fans just didn't like the huge age gap (Marvel retconning Doreen to be just barely 18 even after the New Avengers said she was a young adult) and their mismatched personalities. I forget what exactly was the event that made Logan be awkward around Doreen but it has been revealed.
