It's so weird, because WuWa definitely has the best combat, exploration mechanics, and gear system. Compared to Genshin at least. But I still like 100%-ing Genshin maps more despite how slower it can be by comparison.

I'm just gonna be the one to say it now, that the way you're doing it for your Genshin journey is the best way that fits you two. Because actually having to play a Gacha game means having to keep up with everything the game has to offer, and that's not really something you can do casually. These games are meant to incentivize players to keep on playing daily so that they have better chances of getting the characters and weapons they want. Not to mention time-limited events that have important lore to them and if you're not caught up to the current story, you can't play them. And most gacha games have a leveling system where if your account isn't strong enough, you can't progress until you beat the threshold. Not to mention the fanbases of these types of games will constantly bug you about why you're not doing certain things a specific way or why you don't remember certain information when it comes up in the story. The wuthering waves fanbase right now seems to be in a very sour mood for some reason and are at their worst attitude. Best to avoid any unreasonable expectations from a group like that. Since you're only interested in the stories, just watching videos of them is good enough. And again, if you actually do plan on adding another Gacha story as a series, please let me know ahead of time so I can see if I can compile a list.

I only remember basic terminology and labels for certain things, but I can't tell you what exactly happened to the world or how powers in this world work. Something about frequencies and that's all I can get.
