We kind of had it in our mind that his powers could be triggered by trauma or strong emotion, like an X-man, so while typically powers would come later under normal development our brains were toying with the idea of the circumstances being a catalyst that could expedite the emergence of Olivers powers. While we are excited to see those, totally made sense why our crazy idea didn't pan out for this. 🤷♀️

2025-06-12 11:37:12 +0000 UTCI forgot to mention but I believe the second spider-verse animated movie was still fresh in everybody’s minds since it was a recent release. After this episode came out people asked for Agent Spider (the spider person Invincible meet) and Webweaver (from the boys) to show up as alternative spider people in the third movie. Finger crossed that they show up.

2025-06-11 12:46:32 +0000 UTCMark is a tough cookie. He’s been through a lot and still keeping his head up (mostly). So fun little tidbits about the multiverse. The red sniper rifle Mark comes out with is actually a sniper from Fortnite. And invincible is actually in Fortnite, which means it’s cannon that he went to Fortnite to shoot Catwoman and Snake Eyes with a gun. There’s the obvious reference to Spider-Man, tho unfortunately they weren’t able to get him in the show. We did get his voice actor from the Spectacular Spider-Man so that’s a bonus. Of course there’s the Batman one as well and lastly the Walking dead. The guy who wrote the Walking Dead comic, Robert Kirkman, also wrote Invincible so it could very well be the same universe. Fun times

Like Batman who never killed anyone(depends on the comics and movies) never killed any bad guys like Joker who honestly does goes to Arkham and gets out. Rinse and repeat and still never kills him because I think if he did he wouldn’t stop and be like The Punisher.

2025-06-10 20:17:52 +0000 UTCOh yeah, this finale was something. My anxiety levels were through the roof in this episode, especially with how Angstrom was hurting Debbie and Oliver. The thing with Angstrom is that he has all of the memories of the Angstroms that he pulled from across the multiverse, so he's feeling everything that they experienced with the Invincibles of their universes. The problem is that he can't tell the difference between what's his and what isn't, which means that unfortunately there is no reasoning with him even though Mark made a good effort in trying to do so. One other note, as interesting as it would be to see Oliver "unleash his potential", Viltrumites don't get their powers until they reach a certain age, so even if Oliver wanted to, he couldn't as he hasn't hit the age where his powers will emerge. Regardless, great reaction as always.
