The reason you get thrown into the story in this series, is because it is a reboot. The original FMA had the same problem as Game of Thrones, where they got so far ahead of the source material that they had to just start writing their own story. So when they rebooted it to follow the source material, they kind of sped through the first part of the show.

I love this series and hearing your theories in this episode, when I see you just dropped episode 30, has me excited to see how your opinion and knowledge of the shows universe will evolve over the course of the show. In my opinion, this is a show that has at all. A genuine and thrilling series from start to finish. And if you get to the end and find you want more, there's always the original seriesπ
