The Game of Death was ringing loudly in my head. While many love Way of the Dragon, and Enter the Dragon, I will always love Game of Death. This episode reminded me so much of Bruce Lee's and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar's fight. Just a really tall and basically unbreakable man vs. a martial artist. The way the introduce them is the same as well. Major Metallitron and Kareem's character and just sitting down, plus they both had sun glasses. About Muraskaki and the mesh tops, i know in Naruto the mesh tops are basically light chain mail to protect against slashes from swords.

You might actually recognize that girl, as she has appearances in Kakarot (I promise, I will watch your playthrough some day). "Or she could just be a [cannibal]." Dragon Ball: The Last of Us. When they first show Commander Magenta in the movie they have him standing on a stepping stool so we can connect it right away with commander red (because he is short)

I will say that someone else important that you’ve seen before will show up here for sure, but that will still be a little while from now

I wouldn't bring this up under other circumstances, but there are a couple characters in OGDB that actually do end up instilling in him the building blocks for UI. I'm sure I don't gotta tell ya who they might be.

2025-06-05 20:08:11 +0000 UTCGokus effortless dodging from Reds myriad of punches is a nice reminder that Goku was always predisposed to UI, that’s what I love about OGDB, it shows the journey Goku endures to becoming the ultimate fighting warrior. The next few episodes are my personal favourites because of the characters we’ll be introduced to.

There are also rumors that one of them inspired Korin's design too, but I haven't seen any credible sources saying that's the case. He DID however mention that he hates rats in a Q&A included in Dr. Slump. EDIT: Went back through my saved excerpts of Dr. Slump, because I remembered there being an explanation as to why Toriyama hated rats, and I found it. I could tell ya in my words, but I think it's way funnier if ya hear it how the man himself put it: "I'm sure those of you who read my manga (for which I'm forever grateful) know this already, but I'm somewhat fond of animals. 'Somewhat,' you say? Yes, but though I do love most animals, there is one I truly HATE. RATS! I hate them so much I pee my pants. I hate them more than deadlines and rejected manuscripts. When I was working a regular job, I used to commute on my motorcycle. I'd often find myself riding home late at night on some backwoods road, when my headlights would fall on a rat corpse!! Yeeeeargh!! I'd scream and reflexively yank the handle and -whomp!- do a cartwheel into a rice field. This happened at least four times. Or I'd shout 'Augh! A rat!' and feel like my heart was going to explode when I'd notice the thing was too long to be a rat. 'Arrrgh! Curse you, foul prankster!' I'd shout at the weasel lying in the road. I hate weasels. My cat Mike, beaming with pride, would come up to show off the rats he would catch. It's true! I hate him too." * *Personal Note: Pretty sure that last part is just a joke. Plenty of cat people I know have cats that test their patience every damn day lmao.

He gets introduced in the chapter that this episode adapts, and is never seen again after General Red orders his execution. He's never seen again after that, and it's never mentioned if he ever escaped the RR Army alive.
