2025-06-05 15:56:58 +0000 UTCSo, the actual lore reason why Ultron is working with the heroes is because. This is actually a duplicate Ultron. The original merged with Cerebro to become X-Tron. This one is the abandoned previous model that Stark reactivated and uploaded a copy of Ultron's programming into it. He's still evil, and would likely work with X-Tron, but Stark put a special program inside Ultron. If Ultron betrays them, Stark will erase Ultron's memory of his creator, Hank Pyme. Ultron doesn't want that since hating Pyme is what gives him motivation. So, he's working with the heroes.
