And I agree with you Ken, Goku Black arc is such a favorite of mine and every time I look back on my Dragon Ball journey, I ALWAYS think about how much fun I had watching that arc. On a side note, he and a few One Piece characters are the only anime merchandise I own (action figure, t-shirt, and hopefully soon a POP figure), because I usually don't own that stuff unless I REALLY like that character. And also I believe the reason why the Daima characters are voiced in Japanese only is due to licensing issues. I'm confident at some point they'll add the english voices, just like they did in a few of the DBZ mobile games I play

2025-05-30 18:43:55 +0000 UTCY'know, I always find it amusing whenever you two call Buu "Fat Kirby", because it makes me remember of how I started getting into Dragon Ball in the first place. Somewhat lengthy story: When I was a kid, I was an avid viewer of Death Battle. I was also a big fan of Kirby. So when the Kirby vs Buu Death Battle came out back in late 2014, I started taking quite the interest in Buu. I had learned of Dragon Ball here and there, but that particular episode encouraged me to start looking into it. At this point, Toonami had long been moved to Adult Swim, so Dragon Ball was not something that others kids and I were able to just watch week to week on TV (unlike many others here on Patreon). Had no relatives that were into it either. So, I started getting into Dragon Ball through the means of watching content related to the series on YT. Mostly clips of the show itself, DB game gameplay videos, and of course, DBZA. And let me tell you, I thought that this show was just the coolest shit in the world. An action show where aliens, robots, demons, and more fight each other using martial arts, lasers, and transformations? "They made this shit for me", was what I had thought lol. But what really got me so attached was when the Resurrection F movie came out, and then DBS not too long after. I finally had something that I could experience alongside the fandom at the same time, leaving me feeling less alienated from a lot of other fans. The rest is pretty much history. Now here I am, a guy who's watched every episode, read every chapter, and accumulated quite a bit of trivial knowledge about the franchise just for the hell of it. I find it funny how all of this was more or less sparked by a show that so many DB fans despise lol. But yeah, that's my strange story with this series. Guess I just felt like I owed ya'll an explanation as to why this maniac ya have in your comments rambling all the time is the way he is.

2025-05-30 17:32:33 +0000 UTCEven though some people have their problems with this game which I wholeheartedly agree with like not there being enough replay value and single player content compared to Budokai Tenkaichi 3 or lack of OG DB representation besides Kid Goku and the Jackie Chun outfit and not enough maps post launch. I still absolutely adore this game as with over 200+ characters now with DLC to play with, this is truly the ultimate Dragon Ball simulator and I’m still having a blast playing with friends to this day, and you can really tell this game has been in development for almost 5 years with how superb the graphics and animations are for each character despite some literally sharing the same moves as some others the camera work and voice lines are always different and it makes me appreciate the work done on this game that much more.

Hell I feel like has never been a swear word. It's a place. "Go to hell" maybe is the harshest that word can ever be. And while bastard at it's core just means an illegitimate child. It feels harsher calling someone a bastard in this context then "Go to hell" or even "God Damn it. Just an opinion obviously 🤗. But that's why it stuck out hearing it.
