We can improve Ken. Make him better. Perfect him. (He will give amazing pets to the doggos every time) This episode was so long awaited for me. I only started my Destiny journey when Forsaken was the current DLC, but going back and learning that Maya Sunderesh and Chioma Esi's story started waaaaay back with the first Raid from Destiny 1 was insane. "MSund12" gets name-dropped during one of the Red War missions/strikes, so obviously if you were new to Destiny (2) like me and you have no idea who this is, it's like following a very sparse breadcrumb trail. Every few content updates, you get reminded that there are hundreds of copies of Maya and Chioma out there in the Vex Network, with no idea what the larger picture for them is. Then you learn about Lakshmi, and then Lightfall comes out and tells you how they studied the Veil, and the picture is still too large to know where their story is going but you know there's some unseen end in sight. And then finally, Episode: Echoes drops and we learn that Maya Sunderesh, or some version of her, is batshit insane. She loves her Chioma the same way she loves her work - OBSESSIVELY. And it's a mirror of Osiris' love for Saint-14. Two intellectual giants, who are obsessed with the Vex and their more reserved partners. But now, we see the cracks in those mirrors. Keep some of ya'lls comments from this part in mind for the next episode because oooh wee do things get insane.
