That's fair. For us the journey is still fresh so I think our attachment from the games is there plus curiosity in how the show will handle translating the content from game to screen. Additionally, the acting is so great that it draws us in. But not everyone will have the same experience and of course the game was rather polarizing so I imagine the show will be as well. Will be very curious to see how audiences react, especially to how they end this season.

2025-05-16 14:10:09 +0000 UTCPains me to say this, but this episode made me realize that I'm starting to lose any emotional attachment I had to these characters. I'm someone who finds it difficult to get invested in characters when I know how the story will play out, so watching the story of TLOU 2 (which had more or less been spoiled for me from start to finish) once more through the show really isn't doing anything for me. At this point I'm moreso watching it out of curiosity to see how they adapted things instead of being taken in by the story. Not putting down anyone who doesn't feel the same way, but I just can't bring myself to care about these characters.
