I did see the thumbnail for the next episode, and I can't believe it's at "that" part already. It's...definitely gonna be an interesting episode for sure

He instructed them to create their own fighting style, and that the tourney is not something they should even consider winning only another lesson in their training. This will become more clear as the tourney advances, but Roshi's goal is to teach them to never stop training because there is always someone out there who is stronger.

When Oolong says Puar should be the one changing in english, the japanese version has him saying to get Roshi to do it, only for Puar to say Roshi went to the bathroom and hasn't gotten back yet. "Superman?" Oh yeah, keep an eye out for other fighters, as there's a few references here and there. "Box of giants." I think that was just perspective, because the one that was knocked on the ground was the other dude bullying Krillin. It is nice to see that Yamcha eventually regrew that tooth. I'm very excited for you to see one of the contestants in particular, as it's one you (as far as I know, because I don't think they were referenced in Kakarot) have only heard referenced one in a Dragon Short.

2025-04-17 21:09:07 +0000 UTC25:02 I might've missed it in the dub (or it was changed) but I know that in the manga and Japanese version, Roshi basically outrights says that because Goku and Krillin already came to him with a basic understanding of martial arts, there wasn't really a need for him to teach them any basics. He was mainly focused on ensuring they were surpassing their "human" limitations.
