What's Next After The Legend of Korra? Vote now!

We are coming up on the last season of The Legend of Korra. Starting this poll early because it may take several polls to decide a winner.

Here are the rules:

1) These are all the DUB versions of the show. So keep that in mind when voting.

2) A show needs over 50% of the vote to win.

3) A show needs over 20% of the vote to move on to the next poll (if needed)

Comments

Wow, FMAB beating AOT. Never thought I'd see the day.

Zeallust

How is Attack on Titan not winning??

DnWs

I've seen so much anime lately that I'm a bit burnt out and I'm trying to branch out into other types of shows and movies. I'll catch the next suggestion poll, I have a few ideas that you guys MIGHT like. :)

Lady RedShee

shits ass imo

REDE

Carried by the animation ngl.

REDE

One of the best animated shows as of 2025 as well

Chris

Demon slayer has such a good story omg

Chris

really mha has more than the rest combined its one of the most popular new gen

Elijah Wilson

I honestly didn't see that LOL

Winzy

damn i really wanted demon slayer to win, but it looks like the fans don't want tht :(

Justin Lira Aguero

It's alright bro, calm down.

Dalton

Everyone in these comments are professional plagiarists lol. Every time I say something the only response from people is reusing whatever i say. I say "L take" you say "well uhh y-you have an L take actually"

REDE

Not " A lot" at all the OG Naruto without any filler being watched is still a solid 130 episodes. Shippuden without filler is still 300 episodes as well. Thats 430 episodes which based on their upload schedule (2 eps per week) assuming they don't take holidays and upload every week of the year it would take them a full calendar year to finish 104 episodes. which means it would take an estimated 3+ years for them to finish Naruto and Shippuden (not even including Boruto) Thats fucking insane lol.

REDE

"I just added that since i haven't watched it." Sounds like you just threw it in there with the other "new" anime. I strongly suggest you give it a try if you haven't its one of the best animes from a writing perspective, at least until the end where it kinda falls off. Then again most Animes fall short at the finish line on that front.

REDE

Thankfully, can't even bother pretending to care with how bad the ending is. Than again the same thing can be said about AOT and Death Note.

REDE

"Here are the rules: 1) These are all the DUB versions of the show. So keep that in mind when voting." It says it right there man.

REDE

yeah all pretty mid options imo, Death Note is the best from a writing perspective. Its one of the only Anime Drama's that i can think of that handles tension building and interpersonal conflicts very well. I like to think of it as the "Breaking Bad" of Anime.

REDE

I'll be fully honest here - most of the shows other than MHA I have seen so many reactor videos of them that I'm kinda burned out on them so that's why I chose MHA even though I wasn't really feeling any of them.

Vance Roberts

I love both Attack on Titan and Fullmetal Alchemist..It's so hard to choose. I like them equally. My all time favorite animes right now is Psycho-pass and Black Lagoon.

RyokoTheBeast

Wow you guys are actually going to watch MORE anime other than DBZ? You guys doing dub or sub? How I wish they'd consider watching Subbed Frieren: Beyond Journey's End. I hope My Hero Academia or FMAB wins~

Winzy

Death note wasn’t included in that. I just added that since I haven’t watched it. Interesting part to grab, though.

k c

They definitely could after this dragon ball experience. And I’m pretty sure everyone would be adamant they skip filler, so that would cut down the episode count by a lot.

k c

np bro

REDE

THANK YOU

Ignat10

fair

REDE

Yeah but lets be real here with how long it takes them to finish stuff do you really think they are gonna watch all 200 eps of original Naruto and then another 500 for Shipuden?

REDE

Death Note is nowhere near "new"

REDE

Attack on titan. Let's get iiiiiit

Antonio Gutierrez

thought it wouldn't hurt to recommend it at least

Shawn Waldrop

I’m talking about the anime, my guy. Very different experience.

k c

Too much to recommend Eighty Six make this list as well at some point?

KrimzonHawka

That is an even bigger L take

Sean Carroll

Yesss Full Metal. Only one im not a fan of is death note

alex miller

yes we will get a chance next decade lol (been waiting for them to cover Sparking Zero for months)

REDE

......L take tbh (the whole series is just a reskin of WWII with giant zombies)

REDE

Praying for you to watch THE SUB of Jojo's Bizarre Adventure. I stress the importance of watching Jojo's subbed because 1 the dub is cheeks and 2 a lot of the jokes in the original Japanese version are saying words in English for certain jokes. Ex. many of the abilities and characters are named after bands from America and all over the world. They say the name of the band in the Japanese version as the pronunciation of a bands name is going to be the same across any language. In the Dub they change the names of characters and abilities to avoid copywrite so you end up with horrible localization names instead. Like Dirty Deads Done Dirt Cheap to Filthy Acts at a Reasonable Price lol.

REDE

I’ll be ok with either option, I’ve been meaning to watch a lot of these but I’ve voted for MHA ❤️

Cynergy

show polls for them is like halley's comet, you'll be lucky to see them watch something else besides whatever they pick for the next few years. especially if they pick a long running how like AOT or Full Metal.

REDE

All the people saying "___ Is the best of all time" it's entirely based on opinion regarding what the best of something is when regarding art or media. There is no definitive "Best" anime because everyone gives a different answer. figured that wouldn't have to be said.

REDE

I think you guys should at least watch the intros to my hero academia for a wild card Wednesday. Sadly I doubt it’s winning the poll this time around.

Dalton

attack on titan is the best anime of all time so thats why im surprised. "Aot is bad" is genuinely an idiotic take

Sean Carroll

I voted FMA because it's gonna be over faster than AoT is

Ceeneon

They already know the whole naruto story due to their ninja storm journey

Moheb Michael

I mean FMAB is one of he best anime of all time so I'm not that surprised. Also AoT is bad :P.

Lyle Alsop

Deathnote and Madoka Magica, my beloved favs🙏

Taxen of Hearts

I voted Attack on Titan but yeah Eren and Armin's dub voices are hard on the ears

Enchiladas

Stunned that attack on titan is not winning considering it’s the best show of all time Has to be because the dub is not well received

Sean Carroll

NARUTO!!!!!!!!

Kevin.J

Easy decision, but honestly it's a heck a poll. Would be happy seeing any of them win (and hopefully the others will also get their chance eventually)

thanners

Yup lol... There is a MASSSSIIIVVVEEE difference b/t 2003 FMA filler and Naruto/Bleach filler. FMA was always designed to be its own unique, original story. They used the framework of the manga that had been published as a starting point, but then kinda restructured and re-imagined it into something else.. With the blessings of the author. And considering they had a limited number of chapters written, and 50-something episodes to play w/.. certain characters & arcs were expanded upon, because they had that scope. Tho like I said before, they did kinda lose their steam a bit once they went into 100% anime-original material. Bleach/Naruto filler is ENTIRELY different for sure.. These shows are intended to be manga accurate adaptations....but when they catch up to the author, the studios choose to have filler arcs rather than just have an off-season.... But since they will eventually have to adapt manga-canon material again, they are too afraid to make the filler arcs have consequences or character development... So they end up just being bland & dull by design.

Ietseatapples

"2003 had some talented writers that chose to expand on some arcs & characters that had smaller roles in the original material." "That just goes to show that ppl can get inspired from source material and take things further. " Well Im glad you have a brain with an ID higher than 5 that can see and understand that something being different from the source material/non canon/not from the original author/filler doesnt automatically make it BAD. Just because long running shows like Dragonball, Bleach, One Piece, Naruto and Boruto overdo it and run filler to the ground so bad to the point that its unwatchable doesnt mean that applies to ALL shows and that no one can properly write/introduce filler (Hunter x Hunter is another example of Filler done well). Now you just need to teach everyone else that.

Antoine Jones

I think u should edit down your post to remove spoilers =D. But yes.. the character you mention was given more original material in the 2003 anime... 2003 had some talented writers that chose to expand on some arcs & characters that had smaller roles in the original material. Why not? The author gave them the freedom to write their own story....That's not a knock on the author.. That just goes to show that ppl can get inspired from source material and take things further. The manga is 108 chapters, and the event you refer to happens in chapter 16 after the character is only introduced in chapter 6.. which is in line w/ the brotherhood anime. This post is a good reference for understanding how the manga was adapted in 2003 vs Brotherhood: https://www.reddit.com/r/FullmetalAlchemist/comments/12jlh3h/fma_vs_brotherhood_chapters_to_episodes/ That being said, there is almost no episode of the OG anime that doesn't have anime only scenes or dialogue. Personally, I think that its GREAT that there is basically another series out there that expands upon a few characters and relationships, and kinda "adds" to the overall story canon. But the OG anime does kinda lose its steam after the first 26 episodes. They were terrific at supplementing and adding to the original story.. But not as good once they transitioned to fully anime-original material. The 2nd half is a bit wonky.. Still a great show tho, probably an 8.5/10 for me.

Ietseatapples

Well its been said that the original was never gonna be faithful anyway because the manga author literally told them that she wanted the anime to have a different ending than the manga and that they were free to change the entire story if need be to achieve that different ending (unlike lets say most anime that have an anime original ending that follow the manga 95% then the last two episode have this completely alternate filler ending that came out of nowhere with no kind of build up lol... -Cough- Soul Eater -cough- Blue Exorcist Season 1 -cough-) Also if they didnt fly through the stuff the original 2003 anime covered under the assumption that everyone has seen it already, then youre saying the people who wrote the original FMA story can do a better job writing than the person who created the source material themselves? For example a certain character who has a tragic end whos name I wont name obviously (we ALL know) in the original this person was fully developed, more fleshed out, appeared in just about every episode, as was the best friend of a certain other character and you could SEE that was the case in their day to day lives/interacts just from watching the show, so when that tragedy strikes you actually care, you got to know this person like they were your own friend and you could see how it effected the friend even long after the event occurred. In Brotherhood you see this person up for maybe 2 minutes in a total of about 6 episodes before that tragedy happens, and you only KNOW its the best friend of another character because they SAY it but its never once SHOWN... so I just have to believe it at face value with no real evidence. So when tragedy strikes its like "Why should I care about this person? You just offed what was basically a side character with a recurring role..." In the original this person felt like they would be important/integral to the plot, in FMAB they did not. So if the manga Author wrote that character that terribly if Brotherhood is indeed following the manga to a T, then thats pretty sad that some upstarts did a better job with your own characters than you. Its also pretty sad that in an anime that literally has the BEST handling or all its OTHER side characters and gives them more screen time than any other side character from ANY other show anime and otherwise Ive seen (Dragonball can take notes), its sad that THAT ONE character was so mishandled in whats supposed to be the GREAT version. Now I was willing to accept that when watching it under the lens that "Its assuming we've seen the original so it doesn't want to retread all this"... but if youre saying that thats not the case then.... ouch

Antoine Jones

Id say its harder to watch the original if youve seen Brotherhood already. if youre gonna do both the original should be done first

Antoine Jones

I enjoy both shows & the manga. Just wanna correct one thing u mention here: FMAB DOES NOT assume you have seen the OG anime. The Brotherhood staff have maintained that FMAB never took the 2003 anime into consideration when pacing their episodes. That's a big misconception (One I initially believed, so I'm not attacking u or anything :) ). FMAB was always planned and funded for 64 episodes. Their entire focus was about storyboarding the manga chapters to fit within that requirement. You are forgetting that the OG anime was never meant to be a faithful adaptation. The manga was YEARS away from completion. They took a lot of liberties from the start, and even the first 26 episodes have a lot of changes and filler. For instance, the Nina Alexander arc is only 1 manga chapter (look up fma chapter 5). FMAB adapted it exactly as it was written in the source material. The OG anime did a nice job expanding it... But FMAB was never going to include material that is technically filler and not by the author...Things feels rushed or "steamrolled" because you first watched a series that had actively expanded, changed, and restructured the existing source material for their own original story. That being said...FMAB DOES condense a few things from the start of the manga, and along the way to fit the 64 episode count (63, considering one is a clipshow)....but its not as much as the beginning of the 2003 anime would lead you to believe. You have to take that anime as its own original story, inspired by but not a representation of the source material. However, I think the OG anime is worth watching. It has its own appeal and charm...Its very atmospheric and I love its melancholic tone. But considering this is a reaction channel with a long list of shows they are meaning to watch... Its probably best to just stick w/ the show that accurately adapts the story as intended by its author. I'm not finding fault w/ u or attacking. Just giving my own two cents =D

Ietseatapples

Well either way I think you’d enjoy attack on titan and full metal alchemist brotherhood the most. These should definitely be your next 2 shows either way

Damarco W

Fullmetal is great, I did vote for MHA cause I think you two would enjoy that one.

feltskate ._.

Eenie meenied again and ofc it was FMA.

k c

I’ve been heavily lacking on my new anime. Haven’t watched DS, MHA, or DN yet. Guess this is a good way to force me lol. And I haven’t watched AoT in YEARS (switched to the manga after watching the first season and never read past ch 70 something) and it was like season 3 where I last watched. And I watched a few episodes of FMA years ago. So this is also another way to get me to finish. I’m bad at finishing shows and manga. I’ve stopped a few just before the last episode lol. Maybe it’s a mental thing?

k c

Naruto, Bleach, (one piece makes sense to be left out ofc lol). Ooh… maybe the Boondocks at some point?

k c

I feel like the ones that need to be seen are Full Metal Alchemist Brotherhood, Attack on Titan and Death Note. The others are just good unlike the other 3 that created a cult following (and Soul Eater)

Vincent Ortiz

All the more power if they did. Here’s the thing though. They’ve gotten so many recommendations for other shows, will they actually plan on watching both or just 1 and watch the other one years later?

AlexThat200

Attack on titan or demon slayer i would go with

Mosh Mia

On Team Death Note for sure, it’s the shortest in terms of episodes on this list I believe Edit: What about the ATLA live action on Netflix? Will you guys be reacting to that at some point?

J Sal

FMAB DUB is great

Knightlight 1414

I think they can watch Brotherhood and then go back to the original if they want.

Knightlight 1414

Since quite a few people are making a point about FMA (2003), I think it's worth mentioning one big thing. FMA (2003) is, at the moment, not available on any official streaming service. The only way to watch it is either by buying the disc or sailing the seas. Don't know how much that affects your decision, but it's certainly something worth bringing to your attention.

JT

Full Metal Alchemist it is. Here’s the thing though. There are 2 versions of it. Full Metal Alchemist is the original that strays away from the manga and upset a lot of die hard fans. But for you two, would probably be a fine watch and then see the other version to see how it improves. Full Metal Alchemist Brotherhood is a remake of the of the original anime and more closely follows the source material of the manga. And is the more popular version for FMA fans. So the question will be, are you gonna watch both starting with the original, then the remake? Or will you only watch the remake (Brotherhood) because it’s the best version?

AlexThat200

FMAB but with original dub not english pls

Moonas

I voted for Death Note but if and when y'all ever do another poll for shows to react to I recommend adding Neon Genesis Evangelion. It's only 26 episodes plus a movie. It isn't very long and it's very good.

Shawn Waldrop

While we're here, I guess I could also bring back the suggestion of Studio Ghibli movies. Princess Mononoke was on a poll a long while back, but it didn't end up winning. Most of them are on Max, and I fully recommend any of them (except Earwig and the Witch).

JT

Fate Zero?it’s amazing

Luis Cartagena

I'd say do FMA and FMAB then compared the two (since no one ever watched FMA cause everyone tells them not no even though 90% of the people saying that haven't even seen it themselves, they're just echoing what someone else told them when they brought up wanted to see/react to FMA). Both versions are 10/10 in their own right, for example FMA came out in 2003 FMAB came out in 2008. Prior to 2008 FMA was getting rave reviews, awards and you couldn't find a single bad thing said about it, only AFTER 2008 did the negativity start, if it was ACTUALLY bad it shouldve been bad from day one pre 2008 not AFTER another version came out right? and FMA does do some things better than FMAB (much more serious and dramatic, no comedy thrown in at inappropriate times that dont make sense.. yes theres comedy but they dont throw it in places that were just stone cold dead serious 1 second ago like FMAB does). FMA also has a better first half since FMAB covers the exact same first half before they diverge into different directions, FMAB assumes anyone whos watching FMAB has seen FMA so the first 26 episodes of FMA is condensed into 10 episodes, skipping/glossing over a lot of the details and development that FMA covers. For example the Nina and Alexander arc hit a LOT harder in FMA when its being developed over the course of 3 whole episodes and youre getting to know them and see their lives and day to day in more depth whereas FMAB burns through all that in just ONE 20 minute episode, and while it STILL hit hard, the original hit better/harder, and a lot of other things I wont mention. Now while I do agree that while I do give both FMA and FMAB a 10/10 FMAB is definitely the superior of the two, that part is undeniable, but something better BETTER than something else, doesnt make that something else GARBAGE like everyone else likes to think/say. An Olympic athlete is physically better than every single one of us, does that mean we're garbage? No we still get shit done quite well, and FMA does the same.

Antoine Jones

The only ones here with good dubs are fma, death note and mha

Enchiladas

FMA has the best sibling relationship in an anime!

Yoshitsune92

Fmab dubbed is goated as is death note

C. J. Ramirez

Can't say there's a pick I'll really be unhappy with in this list (tho FMAB and Death Note are the only ones I've watched in full, gotta change that it seems 😅). Though I will say it's rather unfortunate Cowboy Bebop got booted out from so little votes last time.

JT

Fullmetal Alchemist will be such a good ride for them, I know they will love the world

Knightlight 1414

These are all GREAT shows, we only win with these choices

Triedge101

It's my personal opinion that FMAB is the best anime for newcomers to the media, followed closely by AOT. I really hope it wins

Ignat10

These are all pretty great choices but pretty long too. I would like to see something like Steins;Gate in the future as it's a great mystery.

Razgriz

Dang! All of these choices are fantastic 👏 Bummer that Demon Slayer and Death Note are taking a back seat but maybe one day

XxKhaos VoidxX

Mann I’m Fine With Attack on Titan Or Death Note .

Nicholas Daniels

Demon slayer would go so incredibly hard 😭🙏

Angel M

Oooh, Death Note will have you guessing. The greatest game of cat and mouse. Appreciate the rules as they do have to be set.
