2025-03-15 06:44:51 +0000 UTCIt’s the one involving Enkanomiya called “Three Realms Gateway” Enkanomiya is accessed by that big whirlpool at Watatsumi Island, and has a big unvoiced world quest where you uncover what happened to the old Watatsumi Island people that lived there. It involves a lot of a giant artificial sun, a lot of Vishaps, memories of blood and sacrifice, and most importantly, houses one of my favorite NPCs called “Enjou”. I’m not completely sure why they decided to make en event connected to the world quest, but it most likely has to do with the info we uncover from the land. At least, from the lore videos I’ve seen connected to it. And if true, the info is VERY important later in the main story.

2025-03-13 11:09:28 +0000 UTCQuick thing about the new outfits Keqing and Ningguang got. Those would pretty much be a staple tradition for every Lantern Rite. A new costume for one 5-⭐️ character and one 4-⭐️ character that you can get for free. Recent Lantern Rites started giving two 5-⭐️ characters new costumes. Also they made the costumes a tradition for their New Year is because during Lunar New Year is when children are given red packets full of money by adults. So the company wants to utilize the holiday by making the skins discounted during the event.

The next event is connected to a quest that is permanently in the game, but it’s not voiced. And it’s a location that has VERY BIG lore that will be brought up in the main story. So I put 2 short lore videos to know the context of the next event that expects players to already know certain things. So it’s best to watch both of them in one sitting. I’ll go over more details in a Discord message once you have seen those 2.

2025-03-11 18:31:21 +0000 UTCThe lesson of balancing work and leisure is highly repeated for a lot of the working class in Asian countries. And for good reason. Many people try to work to get as rich as they can to either: A. Flaunt their status to others B. To provide enough for their families. (To which many families have their grandparents living with them, so it’s even more important for them to earn enough to live.) C. Greed. Just plain greed sometimes. Felt like the lesson was already hammered in with all the characters we’ve been talking to, but hey, it’s a nice message with a very nice ending cutscene.
