The spider MC was called "Kumoko". It's a combination of Kumo - which literally means spider - and the suffix of "-ko", which means "child" but is also used to designate female names.

And also that they showed more of her backstory than just a single wholesome scene. As that really benefit the character to not simply be a damsel in distress
