But basically, we are mostly done Volume 1 of the LN, so as to your comment about pacing, I suppose it depends on how you look at it. Incidentally, I think Ryo has been hiding in the woods for 20 or 30 years. Abel thinks Ryo is a big mystery, because it's practically impossible to get to the peninsula he's been living on, with the impassable mountain range to the north, and the basically non-navigable waters off the coast. Ryo likes to joke around a lot, and wants everything to go according to the LN's he's read. The pair do have a good relationship with a lot of joking around, mostly from Ryo.

2025-07-15 18:41:04 +0000 UTCJust noticed with this reaction rewatch but in the first episode we see a red head kid and a woman (mother?) calls out “Abel” and then we see this guy(red head named Abel). It happens when “fake michael” describes the world and we see scenes of it. Which makes sense because I watched it weekly and now I rewatched it with you so I was like wait a minute I thought we just heard that name! Lol
