2025-06-15 15:03:54 +0000 UTCSo, with regards to you not understanding the "significance of the item", right before the girl-version of Xiaohei disappeared, it's related to the conversation between Kudo and Gwen just a few moments earlier. Gwen was talking about how some things are and some things aren't recreated. The example he gave was a cat-shelter he built at the back entrance of the cafe in the original Kowloon. A box with a plastic covering to protect against the rain. He was confused, because he didn't know why this thing wasn't in Kowloon. At the significant moment he suddenly saw it in Kowloon and realised that telling Kudo about it was what willed the box into existence.
