Unfortunately huge portions of the manga are being omitted, probably due to time restrictions. At the rate it's going this honestly might lead to a massive loss of depth, missing character development, and maybe even unresolved plot points. Not only that, but certain events have been moved to much earlier than in the original manga, like D making it out of the illusion and confronting Angel (Usukubo), and even events leading up to it happened VERY difficult; a bunch of story and flashbacks in between has either been cut entirely or they're saving it for later, albeit watered down =( the pacing is just too fast for most of us to handle. This ruins build-up, affects the emotional weight of key moments, and makes character motivations feel rushed or inconsistent. It’s frustrating when a good, interesting story doesn’t get the adaptation it deserves. It's supposed to have strong character development and engaging plotlines, but the anime’s pacing and rearrangements make it harder to appreciate those aspects fully. Chapter 97 of the manga is a good example and offers a deeper look into moments that were either cut from Episode 9 of the anime or rearranged in ways that shift the pacing. So when she called him an evil hero he completely owned up to it and said he did not care about the others. And she right away thought he was someone that they needed on the heroic side. I complete 180 in such a short time lol
