Added 2023-06-28 21:17:44 +0000 UTCI didn't quite know what to expect when I announced the contest, as the theme was very niche. But I'm glad that there were a few people willing to put their thinking caps on and come up with creative uses for the patterns.
First place goes to cmoonsims, whose two-part entry had objects recolored in the patterns, incorporated into what feels very much like a family home.
I also appreciated the two runners-up. buzzardly28 made a hair for my girl Maryellen, using the patterns on the scarf in a way that is definitely in character. shkatzchen was inspired by a loveseat model from the 1950s and give it plenty of swatches to vary the pattern to solid ratio.
