Glasses are more a fashion-statement than an actual necessity for the upper class in this universe. Also, as a Light Novel-reader I have to admit I'm not quite sure about the anime giving Christiana's backstory that much screentime. It makes her look like a main character and main romantic lead, but she's really not. Like Liam will get an actual wife, and it's not her. Christiana is one of the girls fluttering around Liam, one fanatically loyal to him as his Knight, but she doesn't really stand out beyond that, especially since she treats Liam more like a deity than someone she's romantically interested in, though she'd offer her body in a heartbeat if Liam asked of course. Honestly in the Light Novels Christiana really doesn't have that much screentime, and it's mostly butting heads with another character that has yet to show up. Like in the original source you literally don't know anything about Christiana before Liam finds her, and you only learn her backstory after she's been restored back to her human form if I remember right. She's a recurring character, sure, but honestly Nias the pitiful tech-salesgirl has more screentime than her.
