Anetka’s Cover Portrait Dress - BGC

My first thought was Anetka Kaminska from the Dear America diary A Coal Miner’s Bride. When searching for the source of her cover portrait, I learned that the photo comes from Russia in 1909. Since Anetka was from Poland, she wouldn’t have worn this style of dress (the book only shows it from the neck up). I'd like to make a Polish-style outfit for her as well, but that has proved to be more challenging.
