There's a reason he was able to cure the disease. Either he created it himself, or he used the slums as test subjects. It could have also been a way to clean up the slums. Release a disease in the slums, then get praised when you cure it... Either way, that's totally the guide. Also, the blue girl, I didn't realize it was her at first, either. She did look a lot different.

There's enough source material left to finish the season, but there's no big climax suitable for the season finale. I guess I'm just here for the ride at this point. Now on to the genuine tragedy: Why does best-girl Orc-san not have a tail? Huge missed opportunity. She already has barely any stereotypical orc features. Was it too much to ask for a tail?
