The knight commander girl graduated from her training under the mc 10 years prior, not 1 year.

I don't know what infuriates me more ... The fact that everyone off those asshats forces their selfish wishes on him without even once asking his opinion or if it's that fact that he lets them do as they please. ...
I feel this guy ... nice and steady life with a purpose ... and then a bunch of idiots jut push him out and take everything from him. They just derail his life with no concern for what he wants himself. ... Got how I hate that trope ... I rather see some idiot collect spouses with a smartphone. That's less infuriating.
He should just have left the country the moment they took the Dojo from him ... that's better than to stay with those toxic shits that pretend to be friends.
Buuuuut it's anime and out Doofus of an MC will get used to being used. X_X
At least the animation and VA is good .... so it's not a show that deserves to be dropped.
I'll see where it goes ...

Gut feeling, I'm gonna enjoy this one. The cast so far has varying personalities and interaction, the art style and character designs are really nice. The thing that really surprised me was the smooth transition from 2D to CG, and when the CG did show it immediately trigger my brain with the thought of "Wait... This looks like RWBY style CG". So that also caught my attention.

They did something clever with the animation here. It has a baseline good quality, and suddenly, they step on the gas for the fight scene. The sudden shift grabbed my attention and made the fight stand out from the rest of the episode. Usually, I'd complain that something like that would be jarring, but it works for this show. I would not have discovered it if not for your review. Sign me up.
Unrelated, but reacting to your comments on Fire Force, holy cow, it's been four years, and we finally got Killing Slimes Season 2! There's no need to review it; it's too slice of life for most people. I just hope that they end this season where I want them to end it. If so, then this season is going to be great. I now understand that feeling of cherishing a show that only got one season, languishing, losing all hope that it would ever get a continuation, and then suddenly, bam!, we have another season.

I like how belivably he does not comprehend his own level.
Like with Rick and most the illusion is broken early because of dragon or a "cow" in the case of Parry everything.
Beryl has only faced students for years, decades even. So the idea of being better than your students is nothing to lord over.
his own pops is probably beyond insane and could down an ancient dragon with a rice spoon; his mom might just be able to parry everything using threadcraft needles.
I exagerate his parents more than likely but I would not doubt that they go the route of "By the grace of the Gods" and make his parents mythologically skilled individuals as a way to explain why Beryl is so top tier.
Only complaint is the MC looking like Adult Rudy or Pauls twin... and thats not a real issue.

Thank God they covered their tracks with the love interests... now to see if the Internet cared to look up ages before complainning.

Comparing this with other "generic isekai/fantasy" series with long titles that we get every season:
Animation wise, it's in the upper third of this category. Basically no complaints, small amount of CG but done pretty well, overall nice to look at, very fluid. For the genre, probably not top 10 out of 100, but anywhere between 15-25 best out of 100 would fit.
Really liked the opening, mostly for the songs, but visuals were also decent. Ending was also decent, though I prefer the opening by comparison.
Voice acting was good, really enjoy the MC's voice. Charming old man, with some roughness in it, fits nicely.
Originally gave this 1 episode to see whether it can win me over, now increasing it to 3 episodes, but fully expecting to watch the entire season. (The redhead is also exactly my type, so that helps a bunch.)
