Loving this Wit Studio readaptation~~

So glad you reacted to this because otherwise I wouldn't have known about this show.

see Yaiba pulls off the "does not know better" vibe perfectly. Literally raised in a Jungle by a possibly dirty old man. I like the main Female also because she seems legit strong for her age just not Yaiba crazy strong. So she may fall into damsel distress moments; but not to worthless Goons, unless said goons take advantage of the law. I am happy to see another good call back series.

3 and a half minutes in and the Dragon Ball (preDBZ) art is awesome to see. While that fight I agree with you felt Mob Psycho; and who knows for the plot so far. But I will say that it feels more like a new Dragon Quest anime to me above anything else so far. which is not a bad thing.

Did not know this was a remake. But then again 90's and before had way to many series that were cranked out all willy nilly; so I know I am unaware of the mass majority. Glad to hear it seems to be a good adaptation tho.

given the era it was wrote in was how a lot of manga felt for sure

As a Detective Conan addict, hearing Conan's voice coming out of another character feels weird, but man they are absolutely killing it with the animation! These remakes getting amazing adaptations, and finally giving me a reason to watch these old gems! Also this is actually Gosho's first serialised work made back in 1988, and did have an anime come out in '93, though I know the final arc was never adapted and I think it ended with an anime-only ending (but I havent seen it so don't quote me on that :D)
