Villainess Dad's Been Reincarnated Episode 12 Live Reaction (FULL)

hell of a reveal with grace's mom! so seemingly, she did something to Grace (why dad was brought in) to help guide her and she needs to keep her distance until she is ready. they better give us a season 2 after that bombshell

also I just was thinking...what if grace and anna's mom switched back in the day and never swapped back! that would explain the weird scene with the dad!

Villainess Dad's Been Reincarnated Episode 12 Live Reaction (FULL)

If the parents are the only ones aware of a swap then I think you could be on to something. It would mean that like the play Fairy messed with a pair of souls... unlike the play the prince now spoke like a commoner to "play" the part... except now the fairy has struck once again. S2 shows the "dad" waking up and "A soul" is in its body. Thus with the set complete Grace and dad body must resolve things in time with each other to get everyone to return. I mean the Dads body remainning in coma does not sit well with me now we know of the fairys involvement. Even if the body remains inert I still think that his family must acknowledge that Graces soul is in that inert body to save the Dad. The play trope normally means the play is slightly off from truth; so thats why I think that direction.

This was one hell of a "we need another season (or two)"-episode. ... They better already work on one. XD

Wow, I hadn't even thought of your theory that the moms swapped bodies. But that's a twist too far for this story because that would suggest the husbands are oblivious and are bond merging each other's wives unknowingly. Grace and Anna exist, after all, so they were conceived while the moms were swapped. I personally think that, given how wholesome this show is, that wouldn't fly. But if that's actually what happened, then to remove the infidelity aspect, the husbands must have swapped positions as well, OR there are soul-swapping shenanigans happening in the womb. Still, it's too far, I think. I think the Duke and the Baker switched jobs since the Duke's backstory was that he used to be a commoner.

Here's a theory: What if the mothers of Grace and Anna are actually representations of the play. We know that Anna's mother was familiar with noble etiquette from I think last weeks episode. What if she was originally a noble, but switched places with the actual commoner that was Jacqueline. This would explain why Grace's father recognized Anna's mother, because he knew her as a noblewoman. Suddenly the tone that Jacqueline used at the end in the carriage also makes more sense, because it sounded like the "peasant" way of speaking from the play. The floating ball also kinda sounded like the fairy from the play, so I'm guessing that Jacqueline based the story upon her own experience of switching places with a noblewoman.

I’m still banking on Jacqueline being a well-meaning villain. Not only does it seem like she’s the reason her daughter is trapped in that mind cage, but also that she knows how to let her out and is choosing not to let her out yet. Unless the orb is pulling strings.

Okay, I did not expect Grace's mom to have that kind of personality.

I wonder if that was supposed to be the end of the game. So he was summoned, and he thinks he was reincarnated, so he's not lamenting his family. Weeb that he is, if he genuinely believes he died, there's not much point in worrying about his family. If he meets his mother, the magic unravels, and he goes home. I'm kind of hoping the second season isn't at the school.
