I believe Comand and Conquer for the N64 was the first game I officially stayed "up" all night playing. More like I stayed up until I passed out and began blink sleeping. Where you blink and time passes and recieve no rest factor from. So GDI Mission 15B; I get barely to the point where I am turning that match around and slowly winning the Attrition war... I blink and wake just after a Nuke from NOD hit my base leaving it with about 30% of the buildings left and most its armed forces gone. i just started righting that course and have my money makers going good again and am turning it back around... I blink and now I have my money makers and thats basically it. So I save the game to return to after sleep. Lets just say I won from the worst position because I had less to maintain and could afford to use Engineers to capture the NOD stuff I needed to turn stuff around. More Luck than one should have later and I beat that map after roughly 5 hard fought hours of squeezing mountains until I got pennies. That maps AI stops trying once the money drys up... thats why I said Lucky. I barely had enough to turn it around and had only enough armed forces to keep the engineers alive until they captured my foes needed buildings; which gave me enough fodder to edge out the rest of the map. which sapped the last of the foes funds and let my limited self get ahead over that time. I love that game and how hard a few of its levels are.
