I do love the idea of Julius unable to remember his real brother since he thinks he doesn't have one given the whole gluttony eating his memories and messing with him. dude stole his brothers memory from him and is living tragedy now
you know a season is good though when a 10/10 like this episode is one of the weaker ones for me as season 3 hasn't missed once

I feel like Mister Diddy Karen isn't any less evil. Gluttony takes pleasure in the despair he sets up before he dines, but Regulus killing his wives family, forcing them into not showing any emotion and obeying every command and then killing them on a whim is equally effed up. Thinking about it, they're kinda opposites. Gluttony makes things very personal for his victims, but Regulus takes everything personal away and forces everything to be about him.

Which person is Brother being said to when they have aten so many... and then Lust avoiding death was confusing because we were cutting back and forth and so I was all kinds of confused. With visuals tho I could keep track. Its a toss up between Lust and Gluttony for most evil power and Wrath comes in at 3rd. Lust can do the worst physical and emotional toture; Gluttony is nothing but mind games. Wrath is the worst kind of influencer. Others seem less cruel to me.

2025-03-19 18:32:41 +0000 UTCIf we were to swap Gluttony from FMAB and RE:Zero ability wise but keep the personalities the same... lets just say Father wins; and Subaru has a much easier life. FMAB version was more or less a sentient blackhole that ate everything not just memories but in truth was held back by being a baby/infant/7 year old mmax kid in how innocent they were otherwise. Had decent people managed him he'd be the greatest of allies. But instead the scum of the Earth raised him.
