Red Ranger in Another World Episode 10 Live Reaction (FULL)

I wasn't a fan of that 7 minute kizuna 5 segment after the credits but otherwise very fun episode. I do think red is a psychopath as he only summoned the zord once it tried to go to a city...I think unless there is collateral damage he wont summon the giant robot πŸ’€

Azir is following a "Magi" plot line is he. Good man corrupted by the trash around him and the death of his icon. Love the foe arcs where they are "Green Ranger" types of good made to do evil... thus a possible future ally.

The last section exposited some important details. Red wasn't the leader; that was a subversion. The original team members are less 1-dimensional now. The concept of the Big Bond Soul is new; it explains why not everyone can use the bracers or be a ranger. That also hints at the characters that Red is collecting for his new team. And this last detail might not be anything: In the shots where you could see inside the base, there were three cubicles on each side; one was empty on the right side, and the original Blue hinted that he could produce as many bracers as needed. Still, he had difficulty locating individuals with Big Bond Souls. And it looks like they're killing my theory for assigning the colors. It _would_ be perfect to do it by eye color, but based on the scene where they boarded the Zords, it looks like the new girl will be Pink, Yihdra yellow, and Teltina green. Sigh, missed opportunity, but I guess it makes sense if Pink has a love/romance theme, then the new girl's back story fits it quite nicely. If I follow this thought, Teltina's theme is duty-bound, like the original Green was, and Yihdra's theme is the straight-man source of knowledge teacher, like the original Yellow. But for the love of me, I cannot figure out the connection between Lowji and the original Blue. If anything, he's more duty-bound than Teltina, but maybe it's less duty and more obsession. I do not see the connection to the original Blue unless spending all your money on something is an obsession. I still think eye color would have been more straightforward, especially now that we know anyone can use these powers as long as they have big enough souls.
