ZENSHU Episode 11 Live Reaction (FULL)

actually shocked unio didn't die here but it's starting to feel like victory is more possible after the isekai hell they just went through. seems like the tearjerker will be Natsuko forced out of this world rather than this world ending

What I think is because Zenshu is the title of the next episode and Zenshu means Redo/ remake Natsuko is going to become Homura from Madoka magica and is going to be trapped redoing things over and over and over again that would make sense because the Author Bird has a stopwatch ⏱️

I'd totally go for an evil but good ending lol ... Let her form the story ending how she wants and live an entire life there ... then have her die of of old age and wake up on the medical staff's carrier, where she jumps off and speedruns the entire script for that movie she was supposed to write for and lands the next blockbuster. XD

if the author sees Natsuko's vision and stops interfering and lets it exist under the let the fans have their fanfiction I think that sounds pretty good

So, a single line of dialogue gives me hope that the show knows what it's doing. Little Natsuko says, "And ever since, we've been obsessed with the world of A Tale of Perishing, haven't we?" Specifically, the "world of". I hope this means that Natsuko doesn't care about the integrity of the story's canon. This resonates with me fundamentally, as you can love a world and its characters even if you don't like the plot or outcome of a narrative that takes place within it. I think there have been other hints about this, such as when Natsuko comments how the world is much more fleshed out, and things take place that did not happen on screen in the original movie. This is a topic I've been talking about for what feels like the entirety of this season. I think we're in fanfiction territory here. Natsuko usurps or copies the world itself and "fixes" the story how she sees fit. Whether the evil director is actually in this world or is just a ghost of the original canon remains to be seen. I hope it doesn't go too meta, though. I could see the conflict between Natsuko and the director as just being her own inner turmoil. She's dying in a hospital bed somewhere, coming to terms with her shortcomings as a writer. But the pegboard, being little Natsuko, was a chef's kiss moment that I had not expected, but I appreciated it very much. I'm withholding judgment on what I perceive to be mass unnecessary death because there's a possibility the world gets "reset" when Natsuko is done. So here's hoping for the "Goddess" Natsuko ending. I'm still upset that they've hooked me into watching the whole thing while a giant threat looms over me that they might ruin it.
