2025-03-12 15:03:30 +0000 UTCIt's trying to pull a classic hero saves the day type shit, but it's a lot of speeches and commentary/reactions from characters. It feels like a video game's side quest that you spam skip dialogue just to get to the accept mission button, except you can't skip them. And the villain wannabe that keeps doing evil laugh every time the girls can't do something, bro could wipe everyone out right there but he keeps playing with them. There's no stake. If he kills one of the girls or two, and kill some civilians, then it'll get just a little more, not interesting but watchable at the least. But yeah man 100% here to watch you complain, because I wouldn't have been able to watch this shit on my own

Speaking of bad shows Brandon: Do you have a "guilty pleasure" show? Or rather, they all react in such awe, so maybe the watcher would think what a great show this is. I don't know. It has some elements which SHOULD be engaging, but it is so extremely boring, so ...not-whealming. Btw what was that evil guy trying to do? Destroy the city? why? Well - I don't care.

And I'm expected to believe all of that was what? An act for nun-lady? I enjoy character development, but the only ones that have had any were Lena and the blacksmith in this show, and Dratena went from personality A to personality B, with no real growth there. What are they going to do for the final episode? No way this gets a second season.

2025-03-11 19:39:11 +0000 UTCAt least they didn't ruin Lena's moment by pulling a Kirito at the last second. The whole sending a letter home to remind us where she was bit made me think they were setting up a mismatched timeline so Light could show up in Athena. Glad it didn't turn out that way.
