I feel like the demon chick has no purpose, except in that last moment a super basic personality, if it could be counted as one. There could have been more time spent on building her as a character. No clue when he got any of his new abilities or how. This tower climb alone could be its own season in most shows. I guess it's best to treat this show like a cool popcorn action flick maybe.

2025-02-23 02:35:25 +0000 UTCMost productions are rushed. There's only so much time per episode. ... But some cuts could just either be dropped or moved. Like the one where they cut open the Ant. Move that one right before the meeting or leave it out. They just placed it totally out of the flow. ^^

2025-02-22 22:16:39 +0000 UTCGreat episode. If I had to critizize anything, it's a few odd cuts between our boi's story and the guild. Some of them seem to have no real reason to be there. That's pretty nitpicky tho. Everything else was pretty much peak. This show had the the best Boss-"finisher" I've seen so far. And that Art-Style change. O_O HO-LEE-FUGG That he got the name wrong the whole time had me laughing. XD Great last scene.

2025-02-22 19:07:19 +0000 UTCOn that note, just got to a later part in your reaction, but Hanekawa (japanese girl, interpreter) still moved her mouth because the anime did some movie-magic here. The "Guild Master" character was speaking in Japanese, which we as the audience understand, but all the people in the room are Korean. She was translating it live for them, because they don't know Japanese. That's why her mouth kept moving.

2025-02-22 18:45:22 +0000 UTCHe most likely won't get any soldiers from the demons here. When he first entered the castle this season, he realized that he can't extract shadows from the demons he killed. (I think it said that their "souls are corrupted" or something like that.)
