What she actually did was magical, all right, and probably quite experimental for the both of them. It's a little concerning that Teltina IMMEDIATELY recognized the post-bond merger awkwardness. She's like, twelve, FFS. Royals are weird like that, I guess. The masks are quite likely magically-augmented, like Rimuru's is. Can we get a shout out for the writer for this episode? Most cheesy Isekai would have the Royal Scepter be the obstinate bureaucrat type, but no, here she has a damn point, even though she's still kind of a bitch about it. The King and Prince both did not object to Teltina adding to their plan, even though they're clearly coded to being and/or being corrupted by the big bad later. It may have been a 'don't blow your cover by being overeager' moment, but again, an Isekai trash writer would have them immediately and strenuously object to Teltina's suggestion, making the entire party and audience focus obviously warranted suspicion on them. Lowji having that paradigm-shifting epiphany of going to space was absolutely warranted. Dude had his whole world view changed in an instant, and even HIS stubborn ass can acknowledge that. Again, good writing.

2025-02-17 18:25:02 +0000 UTCI'm thinking they did the deed. Every character has their main eccentricity, and Yihdra's is magical research, though we haven't got to see it much yet. Red is not a dumb MC, he's proven to think things through and be decently rational, even how he manages things outside his wheelhouse. The show has been pretty consistent about subverting many tropes, and subverting the blue-balled MC seems like a good one to do. Heck, they even subverted the harem (when the MC gets a princess in their party...) Finally, Yihdra is really focused. She doesn't seem aware of her state of dress and isnt particularly modest with her body. Usually someone has to point it out to her, like Red did this time. So she just discovered that bond energy is real, she was thinking it was bullshit until now. For the sake of science, she absolutely did the deed.
