Heres a way to look at Young Su's conclusion. Regulus is not LIVING. Rather than being alive or being dead, he is locked permanently in the in-between. So his body cannot be ALTERED in anyway because the time it takes for change to occur cannot ever be applied. Your playing Mario Bro on the NES and you push Pause... what happens to Mario until you resume the game? That is the strength and weakness of "Lion Heart"... assuming Subaru's theory is correct. In short there is no pulse because time does not influence his body and no matter how fast or slow it should beat its Paused until it can resume playing. But then how is Reggie the Veggie alive then?

Little King and Cowardly Lion (the Lion one might be slightly different) are 2 interpretations of Regulus as a Star name. So Barasu is trying to connect the dots of how the power might relate to the star name and lore... whether or not it really is that simple we will have to see.
