It's unclear why it does this since the media already has subtitles, but it appears to be a known problem. Compare this episode specifically, and you'll see what I mean. The original CR subs are not totally different than the AI ones on Amazon, but they are different enough that the tone of the characters changes.

Arnolds vibe is completely different. And the jade Alina interactions seem more serious. I don't know what's going on. They must've fired the translator at Amazon.

2025-01-31 19:02:41 +0000 UTCthere's never been a single fantasy anime that has had empty spots not filled at an adventurers guild, it's clear to me this is a job like any receptionist job that doesn't take much to fill. the only time you see them struggle is when it comes to the actual adventurers because that is a dangerous job. otherwise as we see with how she talks about this job it's one many want because of how cozy it is and in demand it is. ill accept the argument they only want the best of the best but let's not kid ourselves this is a job that needs more than polite person and decent math skills
