I do think they want us to assume Schmidt is the kid and I guess his twisted view on god would make sense given what happened with his uncle and family but I need the next episode as the directing wasn't 100% clear but like 90%. it's like the end I'm 90% that's nowak but 25 years later makes it hard to know for sure

Oh I agree in the moment was a head scratcher. It's one of those episodes that I had to think and ponder vs an immediate I know what to think. So my initial thought was nah that makes no sense but I'm where your head is at now

He’s not supporting the church cuz he was in that poor peasants position nor he’s against the church cuz his uncle killed his family, he’s against “idolized religion” not god. Dude I think he would like all humankind back to prehistory lol
