yeah im not anywhere close to knowledgeable on a lot of the mechincs given this is my first DB, but it's funny as someone with limited knowledge having better understanding of how draining or demanding something is compared to some who have been watching since DBZ claim its a plot hole haha

2024-12-27 20:57:44 +0000 UTCYeah, the official explanation for Vegeta having SSJ3 and not using it any time after would be due to how much energy it takes to maintain the form. It's actually probably the worst form in all of Dragon Ball, but at the time period Daima is set in technically the strongest form they are aware of. But yeah, Goku who first discovered the form will only use it 2 more times over the course of Super (and one of those he loses the form after like 5 seconds), so it's perfectly believable that Vegeta had access to it and simply never used it later.

2024-12-27 19:58:43 +0000 UTCThis is actually the first time Vegeta transformed into SSJ3 officially. He has only done that in 1 or a few games before which aren't canon. And in GT and Super he basically skips past it (both take place after after DBZ and Daima in the timeline, though it's sort of a split-timeline thing with Super being the canon timeline and GT being the non-canon timeline. That aside, it's a wicked episode. Crazy fights, epic transformations and incredible... maths.
