I assume that when Rust says "I played SLF once," she means that she played it for a while, but stopped and never went back to it. Could be something about the translation.

Rust's new machine barely looked CGI, they cooked with fhe design.

Sorry, I'm broke.

a lot of people thought this though so you're not alone

Ah ok

It's not. Different va and also the mark is the mark you get to start the quest from the wolf boss. Her mannerisms are also completely different

The girl at the end is most likely Rust as she has the face scar in SLF and in the robot game, I'm guessing it's her defining feature like sunraku always uses Sunraku in every game she always has a large face scar

I think the more obvious inspiration for that mech fighting game is Virtual On from Sega. It was decently popular in arcades in Japan, though there's also a few console games. Also wouldn't be surprised if that new girl is someone that Sunraku is also familiar with. But I wouldn't mind if she's completely new as well. Either way it would probably create some hilarious situations of his secret admirer being jealous.

OnePieceMan

Yeah, it definitely. Sunraku stated it's a one trick pony, wouldn't even work again against the same mech. It was just best place and best time to use a gimmick build. Kinda like when players in fighting game tournaments sometimes bust out a low-tier character that isn't played much and snag a win against a top-tier characters despite match-up data saying it's a bad match-up.

OnePieceMan

I think it is a given that Rusts new mech beat Fiddler Crab.
