I'll Become a Villainess Who Goes Down in History Episode 8 Live Reaction (FULL)

after this episode im 100% convinced the heroine isn't some evil character or isekai character just a self insert MC turned real and is evolving as it naturally would. so by the end of the story these two will indeed still be working together and overcome the video game's rules.

also saw someone on reddit mention but is that pink hair girl the spirit the duke has been chatting with in human form??

I'm not buying it. Alicia plots too much for the eye swap to be altruistic. It probably gives her remote vision or something. I'm going to die on the hill that Liz is a reincarnation. Liz's double speak: "would It make you happy if I were the bad guy" indicates to me awareness beyond the usual, making me think that her saintly behavior is just an act, just like Alicia's is. And her line about a happy ending. That's the most realistic of my theories. If you want less likely: one of the bumpers at the break teases a little Yuri with freckles. So the Yuri ship might still sail. And for bonus points, and least likely, Alicia was supposed to reincarnate as the heroine by default, but she wished so hard when she reincarnated to be the villainess and got her wish, the game _had_ to put a soul/ai into Liz's body, so it grabbed the one that was supposed to be in the villainess. And now the world is trying to reconcile things but Alicia keeps messing things up for the gods or whatever.

I like that, from what i saw, the eyepatch is hidden from the promo material and the intro, so either she gets a new eye. TBH what i want is for her to reach lvl 100 and it goes "oh you need to remove an eye for ultimate power and replace it with a magic one" and she just goes "huh, 1 step ahead"

That was an awesome episode and a great comeback. Giving one of your eyes is truly what a villainess should do - well that is something she might have said two years ago. I think she thought hard about her role and what she wanted, how she wanted to face others. She was giving an eye for an eye with that other girl, and called out Liz rightly so. Messing up and regretting it is also something a good show does. Still interesting lingering plot points and my interest is high as ever. I think here is some really good writing in it. Mothers basement called it trash, but I do think this is a rough diamond. (which he also said, focussing on the rough part)

What a episode and the ending scene was something

Yeah especially as an eye patch gives her much more of a villainess vibe. Even if it enhances her chunny looks even more IMAO

the interesting thing she could go fight a bandit and get a new eye but I'm sure that's not villainess like for her lmao

So, interesting bit of trivia. The voice of Gill, the little boy, is Takahashi Rie, the seiyuu for Emilia from "Re: Zero", Megumin from "Konosuba" & Ai from "Oshi no Ko", among other big name roles. Liz Cather, (the Heroine Saint), is voiced by Manaka Iwami, who also voices genius actress, & even more genius detective Kurokawa Akane in "Oshi no Ko", & Rebecca (the "Savior" of Roana) is voiced by Ookubo Rumi, who voices Mem-Cho in "Oshi no Ko". Crazy how many heavy hitters are in this series.

Winter Naomi Vera .

Did Alicia learn fire magic in her two years studying? As she burned that student so severely in that argument 😂

Seeing Alicia lose an eye to restore someone else vision. Is so different from how magic usually works in these shows. As he it seems like magic cannot give you as much for free. Because it magic system seem to be more in lined with FMAB where you have to give up something for your magic to work
