She wouldn't have come back as a villain, that's the whole reason behind her holding the item Noel gave her. She didn't hate him and still loved him and most likely hoped he would save her in her dying moments

2024-11-12 17:04:09 +0000 UTCWell, it was either that or she'd come back as a smalltime seeker in a villain role. There was 1 anime I dropped because it just didn't sit right with me. I just hated the character after that episode. It's a witch anime who travels around and she met a man and his loli slave who was obviously being sexually abused. In the end the protagonist just left (probably because she didn't want to deal with any issues from meddling). The girl probably committed suicide not long after, I think that was implied but I'm not sure if I remember well. Either way, it was an instant drop for me after that. And it's a shame because I'm usually a sucker for witch anime (not because I like witches, but mostly because I tend to like a good amount of anime a lot that happen to star witches).
