I am going against trend and not talk about the action. Two things: (1) I think the conversation from episode 1 until now was focused on getting these characters to this place, with very few side detours; (2) Too much lore drop in too little time, I need (need!) more information.

But the glasses server 3 purposes: - reminder of his girl (she gifted them to him... which is why he's so devastated) - protection from debris, fluids and wind (obviously) - Giving him tunnel-vision to focus on the target without getting distracted.

Why waste 2 days of work on something that would literally be seen for only 2-3 frames? It's not worth it. And having it shown in slow-mo would just break the flow of the whole scene.

2024-09-22 18:42:05 +0000 UTCSome parts looked a bit off, especially earlier in the episode. But even a few a bit later. Like Will's sword made out of magic sequence. You see him attack, you see him land... you don't actually see the attack hit the monster (God of Highschool sadly did this a lot).

Pretty awesome episode, though I don't think the animation seemed to be as good as last week. Guess they finally hit the point where they had to turn down a bit because of budget (or perhaps time constraints).
