Honestly think the aphrodisiac effect of the tea is a side effect and/or effect of overdosing. Kind of like how Viagra was originally intended to be a vasodilator for treating high blood pressure and angina. They turned the side effect into the primary use of the medication and made a fuckton of money. Also, Eve Speed is gunning for Rick Gladiator's title of "Dumbest Name of the Season". Love her to death, don't get me wrong, but God, that's cringey. Also, my theory is that the studio tried bringing in 3D for the first few episodes and saw how bad it was looking, resulting in them hiring/redirecting existing 2D animators to this project. Seven Arcs has a mixed bag of a resume (mostly romance/magical girls, with their lone actiony show being Chained Soldier) so it's likely they were trying to cut corners and it didn't work out. The 3D in Chained Soldier was... serviceable, certainly better than FF has been this far.

2024-08-22 20:59:41 +0000 UTCI'll be honest, I will be really surprised if there's no 3D in the last 2 episodes. There's a fight that would be a nightmare to animate in 2D (well they did animate the entire Gartland fight in 2D, so it could happen).
