Instead it's more about how Sion perceived Will was treating him. Sion felt like he was being ignored, and he wasn't being taken seriously. I guess he felt that if he didn't seriously get in Will's way, like during this competition, this state of affairs would continue indefinitely. I guess this is more important to Sion that advancing to the Upper Tower. This even caused a breakthrough for Sion. But it also demonstrated Will's strength. Sion got Will to show his true colors, and in front of others, which is perhaps part of Sion was aiming for. Remember Will wasn't even going to enter the tournament. ........ There are a couple of other things to note here, too. So Collette is the Earth Princess, but she doesn't like to be called that. Given that an Earth Mage hasn't been seen for a long time, maybe her family should have been the ones to exhibit such magic, but for some reason they haven't? ......... The Rhizanth are the inhabitants of Paradise? They were mentioned before, but is this implying there are no humans, that the Rhizanth are just another name for humans, or that there are humans somewhere? ....... And that crystal Wignall picked up that was Julius': He said it was the Magia Vander's...what?
