Added 2024-07-27 16:24:51 +0000 UTCI have so many questions and far little answers but similar to when I watched 86 I find myself enthralled by this world to the point of wanting 100 episodes. I do feel like the overwritten world becomes more credible with each passing episode though.

Not sure about the girl since she was a target, but she does remember the old world so she probably is like him in that regard. I don't think her saying Sid is what wasn't okay. The 'not okay' part was the word triggering memories of the old world. Well, there is a certain videogame sword that codeholder sword reminds me of. So ah... it's possible that this RPG actually served as an inspiration for this new sword (it's a sword from one of the Xenoblade games, without spoiling too much).

2024-07-28 15:29:52 +0000 UTCI'm surprised the succubus boss girl did not get insta-killed. That usually tends to happen. And yeah, the plot of this does feel like it could've been straight up from a modern Final Fantasy or sci-fi JRPG. Also if you think some of these demons look cool, I would recommend checking out the design of the final boss in Ghouls & Ghosts.

Or did some switch get flipped, and maybe the thing with the snake arm recognized the change. Apparently Kai using the word "Sid" was OK, but when Vanessa heard it or said it, that's when the snake-arm thing reacted. Maybe that unlocked something that made her stronger. The thing said it was trying to eliminate the Code Vanessa from the world. Maybe only Kai is real. He didn't actually use the Code Holder directly on her. OK, now my mind is getting all twisted up in conjecture, I should wait for further information, I suppose.
