I feel as if the old world was overwritten somehow. Last episode we saw Kai's friend just handed over the keys to the vehicle and afterwards he wondered why he did it without thinking. The word Code makes me think it's a program. But is the world (both of them) the real world? The sword is the Code Holder, implying it's the key to the program. And Rinne is the fate change singularity. Question: Why would anyone (whoever it is) want to overwrite the previous world?
