It is a shame that this show got such a piss-poor treatment... as the ideas that your NPCs developed an ego may not be new but IMHO it is better displayed here than in Overlord. Because here the NPCs developed over time, exceeding their backstory to some degree. This point is better illustrated in the LN. (but to be honest, the NPCs in Overlord did not had hundred of years of development time, so maybe not a so fair comparison ;))

IF they create a 2nd season, I hope they have a bigger budget and less outsourcing. ... Also: Schnee is the first character who actually defeated Shin... even if it's just for a few seconds, leaving him totally flabbergasted. XD
