2024-06-29 05:17:42 +0000 UTCTo me, the arc just concluded is a political arc. This one is an economic arc. Of course, there's politics but mainly economics drives the plot. It may have a festival, visitors, and a Dungeon, but it revolves around economics. Most people probably don't see it that way. This all bleeds into the next arc's events and themes. I think you're right about the visuals being better but also the presentation is better. But at least to this point, the economic narrative is just simpler than the political narrative last arc. That arc was mysterious and vague, people were working together and at cross-purposes, and it's hard to suss out the enemy.
