That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime Season 3 Episode 12 Live Reaction (FULL)

I feel like imma have a hot take about this episode of slime as not only do I think this is the best OP and ED of the series to date, thinking back on this episode, I think this is the best episode of season 3 yet! It goes backs to basics but the directing and conversations feel much more organic and expressive and I got a great feeling about this arc!

Had lots of things happening so I was late to this episode, but holy fuck I enjoyed this episode so much! Unfortuantely with S3 I have been negative with how they have handled a lot of it (this is one of my favourite sections of the series), so coming out of an episode feeling this good is really something else! Personally, I LOVEEEE how different they went with the opening, it totally suits the vibe for the arc as a whole, and the art in the ED was amazing too! The conversations were not too overloading with information, they got right to the point and lots of things were covered in good time. Man oh MAN do I wish the start of S3 was like this... Overall, I will consider S3 "redeemed" so to speak if they keep this up for the next 12 episodes, but I don't have my hopes up.

The OP is definitely my favorite in the series to date. I just love that style of refreshing creative presentation that just flows smoothly from one scene to the next. As for the arc itself, from the perspective of someone who reads the light novels, I have always enjoyed these types of arcs the most as my favorite Slime contents has always been when Rimuru is in the midst of realizing his dream of making the world a dream place for him to live in. Kudos to the directing of this episode, very expressive and effective in bringing Rimuru's excitement across. Truly appreciate the passion and effort animators put into this ep.

The four stages of Kenjiro Tsuda's voice performance in order from most to least intimidating: 1) Larva (Shiki's evil persona in Tsukimichi) 2) Tetsu (Way of the House Husband) 3) Vesta (Tensura) 4) Shiki (Tsukimichi)

Mjollmile name is part danish part english meaning something like flour mill. which is quick a name for a ruthless merchant. grinding profit out of people.

it's the difference between a boring teacher and a teacher who makes learning fun with how the first cour to this handled dialogue and as someone who likes dry political stuff, even I could only take so much. this is the way

This is the second time I watched this episode and I didn't notice the change in the way they present the conversations or meetings or whatever until I saw it with you here, but you are right. It also reflects a change in mood that comes from the source. This series of scenes definitely has a more light-hearted, almost mischievous attitude. You can see it mostly in Rimuru's expressions. Mjollmile has always been a bit awestruck by Rimuru and maybe you could say it's how Mjollmile sees and is affected by Rimuru. But Rimuru has an effect on everyone to some extent.

This arc is the silence before storm.. slice of life chill arc.... it is one of the best if you care about civilization building... you will enjoy it... also it marks the transition of Mjöllie from background character to permanent side character :)
