While Prince Albert is pretty strong, the reason his fire-spell was so awesome was that the sword Lloyd made for him was acting like an amplifier to boost the spell's power. That's why it was glowing. Second, pretty sure this is the last arc of the season. The fight might end next episode and the last episode will be more of a relaxing finish with hints of what comes next, or the fight may drag into the final episode and its aftermath and end that way. There's no way they'll be able to cram anything more into two episodes when the main-fight is still ongoing.
