As all the galaxies will eventually move away from us faster than light. Then the rest of the stars, planets, and finally the atoms will be ripped apart themselves. Which is the endgame of the big rip (there is some theories how it all could collapse into another big bang. In an endless sort of cycles where the universe bounce back). This could already have happened to some effect in this world. Seeing how the world within this train line is only supposedly able to be travel to now. Which is a scary though and probably also the reason for why the stops are further away from each other then they were at the start
