As a Reincarnated Aristocrat, I'll Use My Appraisal Skill to Rise in the World Episode 6 Live Reaction (FULL)

ive said it before and ill say it again, his dad is the best character of this season. for as little screentime as he has had every minute has counted. the scene of testing his kid was important and the farthest thing from cruel as if Ars couldn't handle that then he couldn't handle the battlefield. imma miss this man when he falls

I really like that Ars isn't able to see his own stats. I mean, he's probably average, or maybe even a little above average, but since he surrounds himself with super geniuses who think the world of him, how can he not feel inadequate in every way? It's quite an excellent motivation for character growth. And on the story side, the political strife makes for a really compelling driving force for the narrative. I rolled my eyes a lot during the first few episodes, even while enjoying the show, but it is getting better and better.

Well he is used to see death and blood due to his family's profession plus he witnessed his mother 's death in a very young age.... Ars himself lived sheltered plus his memories were from Japan in modern times where he never witnessed death directly.. even the death sentence is carried out outside public eyes... it was a culture and reality shock for Ars... having 11 years of sheltered memories not confronting death and gore directly and not being able to pry his 30some memories for some reassurance that this is "normal". It was a good episode and his father did good... being responsible (directly) for the live and deaths of his subjects that puts their trust on him... even waning a second in a highly chaotic and brutal battle situation would cost them their lives.... and Ars realizes that.. his 30some years of memories let him realize this even more.... You will see this in the next episode... this HAS a consequence for him... it is a character developing moment

The dad reminds me of the dad from world's finest assassin, honestly.

This shows throws us for so many loops. ... XD Bonus points for actually good Parents!

How is that little red- haired kid ready for battle when Ars isn't? Could he be older? Could being a hunter's son and being less sheltered from the realities of life have prepared him more? Is it because he isn't the leader? Well, considering the question of mental age you mentioned last episode, either it proves that Ars's brain, and hence his mind, is still that of a child, or even Ars's previous adult life didn't prepare him for this either.

One of the few Isekai's that show the horror of seeing death for the first time as a child actually having an impact on the Main Character. I like the fact Ars is not your typical OP character, but has genuine weaknesses
