Okay, so here’s my theory. That blood should actually work for quite awhile. First, ghasts, if I remember correctly, were said to be the lowest servants of vampires, or something along those lines. So I believe that while flesh is still viable food, blood is now the preferred food. Kind of like how as a ghoul he was told the flesh of animals would work but humans were preferred. As the lowest type of vampire servant, one would assume that a ghast has the lowest food requirements as they should, in theory, be the most numerous. So he will probably be fine just taking small amounts of blood. Plus, I assume lower monsters don’t have to feed as regularly as they seem mostly confined to labyrinths so far.
