[IMPORTANT NEWS] Price Changes & Cooldowns for Flat n Chill Friday Slots going into effect

🦑 Welcome to a brand new year Patrons!! 🦑
With every year that passes I try to refine my commission process further, to make sure I'm conducting my business in an efficient, fair, and easy to understand manner!

As the demand for Patreon slots has gone up, over time it's become apparent that some folks aren't able to post a comment in time for the slot claiming every month, thus missing out on a slot several times in a row, while some people were getting in repeatedly because they were more able to free up time in their day to claim the slot, or had faster internet connection, etc.

To mitigate this, cooldowns will be going into effect pertaining to claiming Flat n Chill Friday slots:

Giant Cuttlefish tier has expanded to 6 slots! 3 Patrons a month will be able to claim their full slot for a Sketch Speedpaint commission, while the other 3 are on cooldown, but still able to get a commission worth their $20 pledge (a telegram sticker, or something else; can discuss!)

Pharaoh Cuttlefish tier will have a 2 month cooldown after claiming a Flat n Chill Friday slot. You are free to downgrade or cancel your pledge on cooldown months; I don't mind! I will be keeping track of the cooldowns on my Trello.
Once 2 months have gone by, you are able to try again on the 3rd month for another slot.
This will make sure everyone "in line" is more easily able to claim a slot if they choose to!

What if all of the slots aren't claimed?
If slots remain unclaimed by those not on cooldown, I may choose to fill them with folks who are on cooldown if they wish to get a slot, but only right before the streaming day, giving those who are not on cooldown plenty of time in the month to decide if they want to get a slot or not.
The cooldown will not reset for the person claiming the slot in this situation. I may also choose to leave the slots unclaimed and work on queue work instead.
Announcements for this will be made here on Patreon to assure everyone gets a notification for it!
I MAY end up having to reduce the cooldown to 1 month if the pool of those not on cooldown is too small for the slots to be claimed by month 3. We will see! Stay tuned!!

Prices

Starting in 2023 doing Patreon commissions every Friday, I had the intention of always doing them as Flat Color, though over time as I got a lot faster in my process with all of the practice, I gradually was able to add more and more shading to them for a similar amount of time. Also, with the recent Holiday themed slots going as quickly as they did *especially the 2 character slots which I increased the price a lot for*, I realized it is (unfortunately lol) time to raise prices a bit.

But fear not!!

For Flat n Chill Fridays, you will now be able to choose between 2 options.

Flat Color (minimal highlighting to wet surfaces like eyes, mouths etc., no shading... how Flat Colors used to look!)
OR Simple Shade (how they have looked recently, with the shading & highlighting).
These slots are not limited for either style; you can get whichever you'd like for your slot. I will still be doing 2 per Friday stream!

Flat Color prices:
1 character - $70
2 characters - $140

Simple Shade prices:
1 character - $90
2 characters - $185

NSFW fee and complex design fee can apply.
